Libra 2021 Horoscope
At the beginning of each year, we all want to know: Will this be a ‘good’ year? And if someone like an astrologer tells us it is, it is helpful if this comes with some details, so we know they are not just blowing smoke. So let me get that question out of the way. This will be not only a good year for Librans, but a very good year; for the details, let me count the ways. First, for the first time in six decades Jupiter and Saturn, two of the most powerful planets in the solar system and the planets that shape any year, came together in one of the most creative, fun, playful, and romantic areas of your chart, the 5th solar house, in the closing weeks of 2020. Until then, Jupiter had spent the last 12 months and Saturn had spent the previous three years focused on home and family matters. The sign that occupies this area of your chart is Capricorn, and it’s a tough alignment to your sign, Libra.
Saturn has a way of bringing challenges and Jupiter, opportunities. Saturn’s visit lasted three years, and I suspect you had your fair share of challenges and obstacles where your home and family were concerned. But when Jupiter entered Capricorn, in December 2019, then at least some of those challenges also led to opportunities you would not have had any other way. This process of discovery became last year when it came to the things close to home, something you will continue to benefit from this year, though in a very different way. Jupiter and Saturn are now in Aquarius and that is a very different experience for someone with their Sun in Libra. The underlying energy last year was focused at a difficult angle for you, so 2020 was no doubt one of the toughest in your lifetime. But Aquarius and Libra are fellow Air signs, and even Saturn (known as the task master) is going to make life easier for you. That makes 2021 a less challenging and easier year, when you can move forward with matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic, and creative.
Saturn is here until 2023 but Jupiter will leave from May 13 to July 28, returning for a second visit that will end on December 28. Jupiter will be spending time away in Pisces, where you already have Neptune in the area associated with day-to-day work, routine, and health. This is a preemptive visit to lay the groundwork for a team-up with Neptune in 2022. This will be the first time the planets of luck and dreams are working together in our lifetime. Jupiter will move in and out three times over the course of 2021 and 2022, spending up to five months here at a time. Because Jupiter will move back and forth between the two over the course of the year, this will make it easier to maintain a balance between work and play. Another noticeable difference this year is a drop in the tension and challenges of relationship and with it a chance to enjoy the benefits.
Venus will visit the area of the chart Jupiter and Saturn just left twice this year. You will have two chances to heal at an emotional level from the experiences of 2020 and both find and give support on the home front and with family. Venus will be here first from January 8 to February 1 and then again from November 5 until March 2022.
