Week 14 – 2021
Taurus 2021 Horoscope
With the Sun entering the area of your solar chart associated with public reputation and career each January, you tend to begin each year focused on professional or public matters. Then by February this begins to taper off. That won’t be the case this year, even though the faster-moving planets will quickly move through this area as usual in the first two months. This January is the first full month slower-moving planets Jupiter and Saturn are visiting this same area of your chart. This brings you to the beginning of the most powerful professional year you have experienced in recent history, maybe even in your lifetime. Saturn is here now until 2023, providing you with the persistence, perseverance, and strength you need to meet the challenges and obstacles preventing you from achieving your goals and ambitions. But in return, Saturn will demand you show up and put in the hard work and effort. Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, is here to offer you growth and opportunities.
Jupiter will seem to race through this area before leaving on May 13 but will turn retrograde and be back for a second, more thorough, deeper dive into the benefits that your growth and opportunities are offering from July 28 to December 28. During his absence, Jupiter will spend time in the area of your solar chart associated with friendship, teamwork, and social networking. Over 2021 and 2022, Jupiter will move into and out of this area three times. What will really get this year moving and feel very different than 2020 is Mars’ first entry into Taurus in two years on January 6. Held back by a retrograde phase, Mars has been in an area of your chart associated with letting go of the past, causing you to feel more nostalgic and reflective since June 2020, and making this the longest wind-down of a Mars cycle in 32 years.
It will be good to get moving again and, until he leaves Taurus on March 3, the planet associated with desire and assertiveness of the cosmos will be looking for something to channel the passion, drive, and competitive spirit his visit brings. What makes this such a powerful professional year is that you are likely to be drawn to anything that allows you to embrace your personal and professional goals and ambitions. Best of all, there are measures the cosmos is putting in place from the very beginning of the year to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play.
Venus, ruler of your sign, hasn’t visited the area of your solar chart associated with long distance travel, adventure, and higher learning at all in 2020. When Venus does visit, there is a more optimistic outlook for the future, and this year there will be two visits. Venus is here January 8 to February 1 and returns to this same area for a second visit on November 5, not leaving again until March 2022. You can trust 2021 to begin and end on a positive note.
That said, while Jupiter and Saturn moved into Aquarius at the end of 2020, slow-moving Pluto stayed behind in Capricorn, a fellow Earth sign. This will continue the transformation taking place in the same area that Venus visits twice. Although you look headed for a life-changing experience by all indications in your chart, it’s a good thing.
In fact, it may be just what Uranus in Taurus needs to get the ball of individuality rolling. As a fixed Earth sign, it doesn’t exactly come naturally to you to have the planet associated with unexpected changes in your sign. But Uranus can bring out qualities of our personality that would never have been revealed if we stayed within our comfort zone. The freedom to be ourselves is one of the greatest gifts we can receive. All you need to do is grant yourself the permission and freedom to do so.
